It seems like it finally has happened. WWE will be absorbed into the Endeavor Group, according to a Sunday afternoon report from Alex Sherman of CNBC. The Endeavor Group is the parent company of the UFC, which it acquired in 2016. According to Sherman, "(the) UFC and WWE are expected to form a new publicly traded company as part of the agreement." Endeavor is said to value WWE at $9.3 billion. This continues a long and arduous process that has been in the making for some time. World Wrestling Entertainment has been around since 1953, originally known as World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF), evolving into WWF (World Wrestling Federation) marking a 70 year brand that was family owned from Jess McMahon, to Vincent J. McMahon Sr to Vincent K. McMahon. We will see what the impact of this does going forward. More news as it breaks. Credit: www.si.com/wrestling/2023/04/03/wwe-sold-ufc-owner-endeavor
