Bad luck for one half of the WWE Raw roster's newest team The Revival. Dash Wilder suffered a broken jaw over the weekend at a house show and may miss up to 3 months. Bobby Roode replaced Dash Wilder at Saturday’s NXT live event from Concord, NC. They lost to Shinsuke Nakamura & Tye Dillinger in the main event in a match that had been billed as the Revival’s NXT farewell. The Revival, former 2X NXT Tag Team Champions, were called up to the Raw Roster the night after WrestleMania, having beat up the New Day, kayfabe injuring the ankle of Kofi Kingston and have been built up as the new linchpin of the tag team division. This will put a damper on the team as Wilder recovers. No word on what the plans are for his partner Scott Dawson. Wilder issued the following statement on Monday regarding his condition: This is far from the end for The Revival. It’s just a lucky “break” for every other tag team on Monday Night Raw. An eight week reprieve. It’s gonna take more than a mouth that’s wired shut to keep us from being the greatest tag team of all time. If it were up to me we’d be out there every night fighting and making money. Even with some metal hardware holding my jaw together we are the best tag team on the planet. It’s just a matter of time before the only metal hardware The Revival has are the Raw tag team titles. #TopGuys #MondayNightRevival A fan at the show took to Twitter with pics of the injury: credit: www.sescoops.com/dash-wilder-reportedly-out-for-months-with-a-broken-jaw/
